Brigitte Hofherr

Brigitte Hofherr was born in Germany and felt drawn to nature and art from an early age. She had her first solo exhibition at the DKFZ Heidelberg and a painting commission took her to a wine farm in South Africa and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. Since then, Brigitte has travelled widely in search of plants to paint, particularly to Greece, Italy, Turkey, France, Switzerland and Kazakhstan.

Brigitte is a member of the ASBA, the Forum for Botanical Art Germany and Galerie C. Klein (Darmstadt). Her artworks are in private and public ownership, including DKFZ (Heidelberg) Rhein-Neckar-Kreis (Heidelberg) Regierungspräsidium (Karlsruhe) and the Florica P. Kyriakopoulos Art Collection, (Athens, Greece).
