Hyunjin Cho was born in South Korea and moved to the United States in 2017. She pursued a major in Design and Craft Pedagogy in graduate school after a Craft Design undergraduate degree. In Korea, she earned a teaching license in art education and worked as an art teacher and upon relocating to the US, she obtained a certificate in botanical art from Filoli. Residing now in Los Altos, California, Her primary focus now is botanical art, with her work showcased in various exhibitions worldwide, such as the RHS Botanical Art & Photography Show (UK), The Margaret Flockton Award (Australia), UCBG Florilegium Juried Exhibition (USA), The Annual International Botanical Art Juried Exhibitions (USA), 10th International Award for Scientific and Nature Illustration (Spain), and the 17th International Juried Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration with the Hunt in the USA. Lately, she achieved a Gold Medal at the RHS, received Highly Commended and The Artist's Choice at The Margaret Flockton Award, and earned the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Award for a Print or Drawing at the 26th Annual International Botanical Art Juried Exhibition.
