Valeria studied Botanical Illustration at Brera Art Academy in Milan. She combines her personal sense of poetry and artistic technique with a strict scientific method using a fine ball-point pen. As she can't rub out her lines, she becomes more concentrated and her work obtains a certain freshness that she enjoys. Valeria finds it so important to show nature through a new lense and keep track of the changes taking place in nature, especially during the current climate crisis.
