Svetlana Lanse was born in Saint-Petersburg in 1989 and graduated from the Higher School of Folk Arts in 2014. After graduation, Svetlana became an art instructor and taught workshops and courses worldwide. Her Instagram blog helped promote botanical art in Russia. Svetlana was invited to judge the Russian branch of the Botanical Art Worldwide exhibition in 2018. She exhibits internationally and has won several awards, including a RHS Gold Medal in 2019 with a group of Russian botanical artists. The World Class Botanical Art Book by KBAS lists several of her best works.
