Mary is an Irish botanical artist. She is recognised internationally for her passion for capturing the essence of a plant in a contemporary yet scientifically truthful way. A multi award winning artist, her work belongs in the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation and the collection of Dr. Shirley Sherwood. Mary has a fascination for botanical art as a personal process. She has a strong international reputation for teaching botanical art. Mary was the founding chairperson of the Irish Society of Botanical Art, is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and a Fellow member of the SBA, UK.
