Born in Standerton, S Africa 1951. Studied at Pretoria Art Centre. Taught Art at Rustenburg High School and Fine Arts at the Technical College. Later established an Art School at home. Exhibited at Everard Reed galleries, Kirstenbosch and London.  Since 1997 she has been commissioned to prepare book illustrations for Stellenbosch University, RBG, Kew, and University of the Western Cape. At present she is working on illustrations for books on the Agapanthus and the Nerine species.
