Having grown up with nature books and frequent visits to the parks and gardens in her hometown, Kyoto, Japan, her curiosity towards nature grew tremendously. Naturally, she was drawn to the nature surrounded her. After completing her master degree at Kyoto City University of Arts, she spent ten years in NYC delving more into her works. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions around the world. Now, she lives and works in Hyogo, Japan.
She is a Master of Fine Art in painting at University of Kyoto, Japan 1997. She was awarded the Diane Bouchier Award in 2018 and has shown around the world in China, Tokyo, Kew, London, New York, Italy and Hawaii to great acclaim.
