Monika de Vries Gohlke is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. After coming to the US from Germany, she attended a number of art schools and worked in the fabric and home design markets for many years. For the last thirty years she has focused primarily on botanical art, painting and etching the plants she grows in her own garden as well as the Botanic Gardens in New York city. Her work is widely exhibited and collected.
