Born 1956, Edinburgh. World-renowned botanical artist Fiona Strickland’s signature approach to botanical watercolour demonstrates a passion for intense colour and extraordinary attention to detail. A Post Graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, she studied with Dame Elizabeth Blackadder O.B.E. A recipient of an R.H.S. Gold Medal, the ASBA ‘Best in show and multi-awards from SBA, with paintings in the collections of Dr Shirley Sherwood O.B.E., the RHS Lindley Library and the Hunt Institute. Represented by the Jonathan Cooper Gallery, London.
