Rosane has always been interested in art and biology. She has an academic record in Plastic Arts and Biology. After studying Botanical Illustration at the Botanical Illustration Center of Paraná (CIBP), she was awarded a fellowship in Margaret Mee Artist Fellowship Programme at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. In 2006 Rosane joined CIBP as a permanent member and has been teaching botanical illustration courses since 2006. Her specialties are watercolour and pen-and-ink illustrations.
