Barbara Duckworth holds a Diploma of Art from Central Technical School, Toronto, Canada and studied Natural History Drawing at the British Museum of Natural History, London. She worked for the Australian Museum from 1975-1988. From 1988-1999 she worked at Macquarie University as Biological Illustrator/Artist and taught Scientific Illustration courses in fundamental and advanced techniques. Barbara teaches at the Mount Anan Botanic Garden, Royal Art Society & Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. Her work is published in the key guide of Australian Reptiles and Amphibians, (L.Cronin) and a number of scientific texts and journals.
