Linda Heppes Funk is an artist with 45 years’ experience in design and illustration. Working from live plant specimens only, specializing in pencil, watercolour, gouache and metalpointe, she tutors private students in Maine and at locales including The New York Botanical Garden, College of the Atlantic and Wellesley College. Recipient of the ASBA Bouchier Award for Excellence in Botanical Art in October 2001 and a founding member of the ASBA, Linda served as a Director for 6 years. She was the teaching artist-in-residence at the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in 2012.
