Francesca Anderson was born in 1946, and began her first College course in 1968. Thereafter, she went on to receive a bachelors in Fine Art, a Masters in Art and then a Masters in Fine Art. She then began Botanical Illustration, and was awarded two RHS Gold Medals, and one Silver-Gilt Medal. She was awarded artist of the year by the American Society of Botanical Artists, and now has work featured in the Hunt Institute, the Shirley Sherwood collection and St. Anne's College Oxford.
