Ann’s mission is to spread the joy of using graphite and coloured pencils believing they are easy to master, forgiving and accessible so that even a complete beginner can produce work of quality. Known for her fine detail, vibrant colours and strong contemporary style she constantly experiments with her chosen medium to achieve a more painterly effect and brighter colours. She teaches at her studio in Wiltshire and around the world and runs an online tuition programme. She is a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists and her popular book ‘Botanical Painting with Coloured Pencils’ is published by Harper Collins and available in the USA, South Korea and Russia.
