Learning botanical painting in 1995 from Anne-Marie Evans and being featured in Dr. Sherwood’s book A Passion For Plants in 2001 changed my life. I had always wanted to learn about portraying light, about perspective, colour and composition. I like plants, so the Chelsea Physic Garden course ticked all the boxes. Since then I have won 2 RHS Gold Medals, become a founder member of the Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium, been featured in the Highgrove Florilegium and become a teacher myself.
