Patricia creates botanical watercolour drawings, from live specimens mostly grown in her own garden, gardening having always been one of her great loves and interests.

Her designs have been used commercially on many products such as cards, table mats, calendars, books and fine plates; commissions include: the Medici Society of London, the Forestry Commission, Cloverleaf Giftware, RHS Enterprises (three Spring Plates in their Collectors' series) and The Franklin Mint (their RHS Flower Show plate for 1995). She has enjoyed an open brief, being able to choose her subjects.

For twenty-six years Patricia ran a stand displaying her own original botanical watercolour drawings at the Chelsea Flower Show, retiring in 2002.
