Alison Cooper was born in Libya and studied at Newport College of Art and Florence university. She has exhibited and won several medals with the RHS, and featured in exhibitions in London,, Birmingham, Liverpool and Worcester. Images of her paintings are held with the Bridgeman Photographic Library. She lives in Monmouthshire.
