Marjorie was born in 1918 and spent her early life on the Isle of Wight. She took up Illustrating professionally at the age of 48, had work featured in many books, and was awarded five Gold Medals, three coming from the RHS. She was awarded with an MBE in 2007, and lived in a small village in Cornwall, with her Husband until she died in 2019, aged 101.
