Isobel has been a botanical artist and tutor for thirty years, teaching Botanical Illustration since 1991. She has been awarded medals at the Royal Horticultural Society on 11 occasions. She has taught on residential courses in England and Scotland and set up many workshops in her local area of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
In 2010 she founded “Iceni Botanical Artists” and in 2014 was awarded an HLF grant to run day painting workshops featuring local Breckland topics. In 2016 they published the book 'Breckland Wild Flowers - Heaths and
Grasslands' with illustrations of some of the rare and endangered Breckland flora.
