Ann Schweizer studied in Rhodes University, where she acquired a degree in Art and English. She then went on to study Fine Art in Cape Town and achieved a degree in Archaeology from UCT. She exhibited in every Kirstenbosch Biennale and was awarded three Gold Medals and one Silver. Her work has also been exhibited in Washington DC, London and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and the Shirley Sherwood collection. She passed away in mid-2014.
