Marilena Pistoia

Pistoia was born in Milan, Italy, in 1933. She received diplomas from the Artistic High School, Monza, in 1951; Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, in 1955; and the Anatomical Design School, Bologna, in 1957. From the 1970s onward she divided her time between freelance artistic practice and teaching at the Academy of Fine Art, Bologna.
