Botanicals: Environmental Expressions in Art

Isaac M. Sutton visited an exhibition of artworks from the Shirley Sherwood Collection in New York in 1998 – he was “blown away”. Following the event, he embarked on his own collecting journey, using the books of Dr. Shirley Sherwood to guide him. He now has amassed over 270 paintings, making his collection the largest private collection of botanical art in the US. This exhibition celebrates the collection and Isaac’s achievement.
