Botanical artists Sue Wickison and Sue J Williams were the focus of this exhibition. All artworks in the display were rendered in black and white, with the showcase aiming to highlight just how much variation and realism can be found in the black and white palette.
The exhibition was inspired by this quote from the 1821 poem 'New Morality' by George Canning: "... sees, with keen discriminating sight, Black’s not so black; nor white so very white.”
