Peta Stockton was born in South African, now living in Kent in the United Kingdom. She was awarded a gold medal at the Kirstenbosch Biennale in 2004 and a gold medal at the RHS in 2006 for her paintings of protea. Whilst she still paints and teaches art sporadically, she is pursuing other interests and working towards a degree in Psychology.
